According to Akram Vignan, the Soul is the essence of life energy, separate from the physical body or matter. It represents the purest form of the self, transcending the limitations of the physical realm. The ultimate goal of the Soul is to attain liberation, breaking free from the cycles of birth and rebirth.

The Soul is eternal and has never been created or destroyed, existing throughout all time. It is neither born nor subject to death. Despite its existence in every living being, the Soul remains concealed under various layers of ignorance. Nevertheless, the Soul's inherent nature remains unchanging, constant across the past, present, and future.

The evidence of the Soul's existence and its presence within the body lies in the person's movements, laughter, breathing, eating, etc. A living being can only exist if it possesses a Soul, which represents the life energy itself. Without the Soul, there would be no life, rendering the body motionless and lifeless.

The Soul has a subtle form and cannot be observed with the eyes, but it can be fully experienced. Just like we cannot see air but can acknowledge its presence, or we cannot see fragrance but recognise the presence of perfume, we cannot see electricity but recognise its presence when we use our electricity goods similarly, the existence of a Soul inside a living being is evident through the conviction of its life and vitality.

The Soul has always existed, and you will be surprised to learn that this is our true form.

We are, in reality, eternal Souls - an everlasting essence within us. However, for countless past lives, the Soul has remained concealed behind veils of ignorance, preventing us from experiencing our true selves. This lack of experience has led to doubts about the existence of the Soul, prompting us to search for answers regarding its presence and existence.

Yet, once we attain the experience of the Soul, all doubts vanish. To achieve this, we must genuinely inquire, "Who am I?" rather than having the false belief of ‘I am this body and mind’. Furthermore, remove the wrong belief of ‘I am doing’. When in reality another entity, nature is the doer.

When a living Enlightened One (Gnani Purush), who has experienced the Soul and dwells only in the realm of the Soul, imparts this profound knowledge to us, gracing us with Self-realisation (Gnan Vidhi), we can immediately begin to experience our true Self. Once the Soul is experienced, this awareness of being a pure Soul becomes innate and everlasting.

This awareness manifests itself in every situation and individual we come across in life, and it remains an ever-present companion, offering us an unending stream of blissful experiences.

In summary, the Soul exists eternally as a form of radiant energy, residing within every living being. On the contrary, matter represents the transient body complex that is subject to birth and death. While the body complex undergoes the cycle of life and death, the Soul remains everlasting and liberated from this process. Embracing the Soul as our true Self unveils our inherent permanence and freedom beyond the realm of birth and death.

Author's Bio:

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifest within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.
