My career started in Minnesota over 35 years ago. While living there, many clients such as 3M Company, several hospitals, large events would hire my group of readers to entertain their party goers. It was always a big success and people learned not to be afraid of the tarot cards. They also would become regular clients as the years progressed.
I had little office in a store in Stillwater, Mn for several years made many friends with fellow readers and other practitioners of energy work(s). My Reiki level is Third Degree, but do not teach or initiate.
After leaving and coming to Arizona, the local radio station had me do the daily horoscope for 7 years. People would also call in to have their cards read; or they would fax in a copy of their palm, and we would read them live on the air once a week. Ethics were always stressed when on the air. I would make sure to tell people to get a recommendation before getting a reading, or if it did not feel right to get up and leave. If a reader said for a couple extra hundred they would pray or light a candle, to also be very leary. When the radio career subsided, the local newspaper had me do an advice column once a week for approx. a year. In the meanwhile, my store Celestial Moments was in full swing. We would have psychic faires every year for the community. It was very eye-opening for a lot of the fear based people living in the town. A lot of people living here are not very open minded, so it has been a bit of a challenge. There are many who have benefited from things they have learned through the store and my presence.
I spent a whole summer in Sedona, Az doing readings at the Center For The New Age. If anyone needs a place to stay there let me know. There are 2 contacts that will put you up for under $50 per night. The worst hotel in town is $100, and it is no where you would want to stay.
I also attend renaissance faires as a vendor and have done several psychic faires in other towns over the years. Teaching palmreading is another outlet.
The store has moved to the internet and there are many more products available to look at and purchase. At this time I do readings at home, on the phone or by e-mail. Readings on the internet may be paid for with Pay Pal and the reading is typewritten and can be printed out to keep for reference.
