I was a smoker for 17 years; and I started when I was 12. I smoked through my adolescence, and I didn't see a problem with it until I was in my early 20's. It was too late, though; and even though I could stop for a few days or weeks at a time, I could never quit for good.
That is until I discovered the root of the problem: Me...My perceptions, resentments, anger, guilt, emotional instability, ignorance for life, etc. I was emotionally and spiritually sick and I needed to find a solution to my problem - which I had always found in smoking cigarettes.
At the age of 29 I finally got serious about recovering from the human condition. Once I began to take steps to improve my behavioral health, cigarettes lost their grip on me; and I have now been quit for almost 2 years.
I continue to be of service and help others recover from nicotine addiction, and I am rewarded with a stronger recovery each and every day.
