Ian specialises in training people to give outstanding business and public presentations, including memorable speeches at private events. Through learning how to prepare, construct and deliver speeches, Ian teaches that, confidence will grow and public speaking can actually be something to look forward to!
Recent contracts have seen Ian travelling to Barcelona to Amgen's international conference - a series of courses all involving candidates for whom English was a second language. Impressed, he was further invited to Vienna to train other staff members.
In the UK, Ian has trained staff from a variety of professions including legal, media, health, and public relations. From large corporations to small independent companies, Ian quickly establishes a good rapport with course members, and introduces an atmosphere that ensures training is effective as well as enjoyable.
Ian believes courses should be fun, enjoyable and most of all greatly beneficial to the members. His passion for speaking, the enthusiasm that he brings ensures that every course is memorable, lively, interactive and effective.
Training is offered at beginner, intermediate and advance levels and can be delivered either one2one, for a group of employees or at our public courses held throughout the year in London and Coventry. If you are interested in any of these courses then please visit the website, or if you have any questions concerning public speaking then please do get in contact.

Throughout my working career I have had a love of giving humourous, serious, political, social and educational speeches to teach and entertain an audience. I have been a member of the ASC throughout this time which has given my many speaking opportunites, not only for enjoyment but also in competition. As well as this I have held many positions within the club working to expand its borders, these include local-area President and for one year club President. I love my time with the ASC and it continues to be an important part of my working and social career.

After leaving the local council, I joined Skills Studio and learnt the basics of Presentation Skills Training whilst completing my training qualifications. I ran courses in and around London as well as starting to plan and expand my ideas of how Presentation Skills training should be conducted. After a couple of years I decided to branch out into my own company rather than be confined by a larger corporate firm. I wanted the freedom to expand my ideas on how training could be delivered and managed.

This course is available as a one day course looking specifically at the use of PowerPoint. It does not teach the use of the application (how to make slides), but rather concentrates on helping people to make the best use of PowerPoint, develop slides that add meaning and impact and importantly how to avoid death by PowerPoint syndrome. Available also as a two day course - normally delivered on a Friday and the following Monday - the course combines aspects of the Advanced course alongside the PowerPoint aspects and allows candidates to modify and prepare some slides after day one, for use on the second day. Maximum of 6 people per course allows plenty of time to practice and refine your presentation and PowerPoint skills.
