Every time I introduce myself, they have difficulty remembering my name “Dubhe Ann” because they can’t utter the word “Dubhe”, correctly so they just end up calling my second name “Ann”. As a result, my friends and colleagues prefer to call me Ann and it became my nick name. Although my name is hard to pronounce, I still like it because it’s unique and my father gave that name to me.
Due to my curiosity, I asked my father the origin of my name. He explained that Dubhe is a name of a star and it is one of the brightest stars in Ursa Major. According to him, as a seaman, the star, Dubhe points the North Star which is important in their navigation when they’re in the middle of the ocean. As I grew up, I didn’t stop studying the meaning of my name; moreover, I continue searching more about myself to know my strength and weaknesses. I continue exploring about my personality and characteristic so that I can thoroughly understand what I can do to my life and what my purpose is.
My purpose of my blog is to share to everyone how God revealed to me his wonderful plan in my life by putting me in different situations that slowly brought to light His divine will for me and the experiences I have gained curved my character to fulfill my purpose.
I will share to everyone how failure helps me to discover my true potentiality; how I changed my perspective about the true essence of wealth and how I live in abundance even in the time of misfortune and sorrow. You will learn in my blog the reasons why it is essential for you to align your goals with God's goals to experience the fullness of life.
Similar to my name's meaning, a star that points toward the North Star, my blog can be a guide towards the fulfillment of your life's purpose. I am not a perfect person but through my imperfections, I have learned so many things that lead me to take the path of fulfilling my purpose.
As always stated, Life is a journey. Our lives is our journey that can be sometimes fun or unpleasant; it can be hard sometimes but if we have God, I assured you our journey will be worth living.
Presently, I am a teacher, a guidance counselor and career adviser.
That's all for now.
It is not an accident you are born in this world.
It all starts with God.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” - Genesis 1:26
God longs for us to discover the life he created us to live here on earth and for eternity.

"In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will," - Ephesians 1:11
To know His divine purpose, God wants us to seek Him first....
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." - Matthew 6:33
"I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me." - Psalm 57:2
God wants us to present ourselves to Him...
You need to transform by changing your mind so that you will be able to discover His purpose for you.
"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." - - Romans 12: 1-5
God assign you to do a specific role in His divine plan for mankind. You are expected to do your assigned task which is channeling His blessings to others.
If you align yourself to God then you will have the strength and wisdom to fulfill His purpose.
You are nothing without God. Whatever accomplishment you had without His guidance and against His purpose will not last for a lifetime.
“Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you. - Job 22:21

"The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man." - Ecclesiastes 12:13
God is faithful on His promise....
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:11-13
"But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual."- 1 Corinthians 2:9-13
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” - Revelation 21:4
