Hi
I have been in the pest control Industry for nine years, before which I was a member of HM Forces for six years.
Being in pest control has opened my eyes to many things that I would have been aware of in the past that reaches out further than just rodents and insects, it concerns food, health and saftey, public health, personal responsibility, risks of infection and so much more.
I have also been caught up in disputes with landlords and tenants regarding duty to pay for treatments, who caused infestations and so on.
So pest control really is the tip of the ice berg that leads into so many other catergories that inturn lead into other areas.
Lets see where that leads us.
Pest Control This is many peoples view, and to a certain extent is correct, but, there is far more than just extermination to be considered here, and for those that take there career very serious, as most do, pest controllers have a responsibility to those that the service is provided for to ensure that not only are treatments successful and pests eradicated, but further to that, identify why and how an infestation has taken place, advise how to ensure it does not take place again, proofing measures i.e holes that need to be filled, they also can be held accountable for their work should they be deemed to have caused harm through not applying to correct measures when using pesticides, and so much more we will examine later.
So if you would like to explore pest control, the pest control industry and the risk, responsibilties and requirements further with me then please join me on this subject.
