Christina Wolf, MAOM, LAc is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture, one of the oldest and most prestigious Oriental Medicine programs in the country. She was among the first acupuncturists to be licensed in New Hampshire and has maintained a practice in Peterborough for over eight years. She recently joined the medical staff at the Northeast Center for Holistic Medicine in Bedford, NH, where she sees patients on Fridays.
Christina has completed advanced studies in treating infertility with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, in order to deepen her understanding of how this ancient medicine can help get the body ready conception and pregnancy. She is grateful to have studied with a true master and enjoys sharing what she has learned with couples who are struggling to start a family. Not wishing to limit her practice to infertility, Christina also has many years of experience in treating patients with low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, multiple sclerosis, insomnia, anxiety, menopause and other women’s health issues.
In the treatment room, Christina blends aspects of Japanese Acupuncture, Dr. Tan’s Balance Method, Five Element Acupuncture and her own clinical observations with Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. Though taking Chinese herbal medicine is not required, she has found that they accelerate the healing process when treating chronic or stubborn conditions. Through her extensive Chinese pharmacy, Christina is able to offer high-potency, custom-made teas (granules dissolved in hot water) as well as ready-made pills, tablets, tinctures and topical products.
