So, you decided that you want to invest. Great. But then you start looking around and you see there are tons of possibilities to invest in. Some are easier, some are more complicated and some you cannot even access if you want it to since you are not eligible as a Smart Investor (do not worry, neither am I). Then, you realize you need a proper investment plan before going out there and start buying stocks.

In order to write a complete and decent investment plan, there are several questions you need to start asking yourself. All these questions will help you to decide how, when and where exactly your hard-earned cash should be flowing into. Some questions are easier to answer, others you are not able to answer it the moment. Some you might even need help in order to have proper answer.

One of the first questions you should be asking is where you stand at the moment. How much do you have? How much do you have in debts? How much can you expect to earn monthly? For how long? Then you will see that you might start adding variables to all these answers like, for example, what happen if I get fired after one year and cannot find a job for whole six months? All these questions will start to sum up and will start to make it clearer where exactly you stand.

If you think that this is way too troublesome and you will lose a lot of time doing it, you are right: it is troublesome and you will be long hours doing that. But, if you are not willing to go through all this, than you might as well just give it up all together. Do not even start! Do not waste your time! Maybe this is not for you. It is not mandatory that you like to do this. You are not alone on this boat. There are tons of people out there that just hate financial markets and all it involves. What they do is, they find someone they trust, usually a bank manager they trust, and let them do all this job for them. That is what they are paid for. Maybe this is the solution for you.
