About the Author

My name is Ruben Seetharamdoo. I was an introvert young man growing up in the paradise island of Mauritius, and went off studying my first degree in Chemistry at the University of Delhi in 1995. I thought I had a clear goal and path ahead of me, but while at the university I developed a strong urge for self-development. It was almost as if it was uncontrollable – a destiny that I felt I must follow.

This strong need to develop my inner being from chemistry to alchemist and this led me to the study and mastery of remarkable amount of subjects: including Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Dale Carnegie principles, Human Resource Development, Mind Power courses, Speed and photo reading. It was during this time of intense study that I also earned my Bachelor of Science Degree.

When I moved to the UK, I began pursuing additional studies, focusing on human behaviour and the healthcare industry at Masters’ level. So many areas of the human mind intrigued me, so I continued my studies. I completed a postgraduate degree in coaching and mentoring practice from Oxford Brookes University and since then I have been an Executive coach and leadership consultant.
