Tune-in and Tune-up

Each one of us is like a radio station playing life at our unique frequency. We are constantly sending out signals over the airwaves. We have a band of high and low frequencies that identify our personal energy range. And, as the Universal Law of Attraction is always in action, we are calling into our energy band, people, places and situations that resonate with our particular frequency. This attraction happens both on the high and the low levels of our energy band. Others are unconsciously reading our energy frequencies as we are reading theirs. We are responding to the frequency of others as they are responding to us. We call this exchange, life.

This unique frequency is created by our belief systems. Both thoughts and emotions have a frequency. The more than 60,000 thoughts we have a day are charged by our emotions putting the energy of out thoughts into motion. These charged thoughts and emotions create our belief system. The beliefs we hold to be true about ourselves and our world resonates at a particular frequency. This becomes the radio station we are playing.

We love the people that are attracted to us on the high range of our frequency because they feel comfortable to us, we click with them. They feel like they are on the same “wave length” as us. And we love the situations we have that are on the high end of our scale because they bring us joy and fun. It is probably easy to identify the people and situations that are attracted to the mid range of our frequency they may feel comfortable or OK to us.

How about the people we attract to us that are on the low end of our energy band? They may be the one’s who push our buttons, who make us feel insecure, who make us feel angry. And the situations we attract on this level of the band may cause us to feel frustrated or anxious. Most of us want to “tune-out” these people and events. And that is just the opposite action for us to take.

If we are willing to “tune-in” to these people and events, we can identify the beliefs we hold that charge up this end of our energy band. Choose a person or situation that calls up an uneasy feeling for you. Can you identify what you don’t like? Can you name the feelings and the thoughts you have about the person or situation?

For example: Everyday a co-worker complains to you about how they don’t have enough money. You feel trapped at your desk so you sit there listening, all the while wanting to yell, “shut-up,” but you don’t. You wish they would find something good about life to share. The more you try to “tune-out” this person, the louder their complaints seem to get. The first step is to acknowledge that you are attracting this person into your energy band because of beliefs you hold. Next, identify the feelings you have about their complaints? What if they were the voice of your own inner fears about not having enough money in your future? What if they were picking up these frequencies and broadcasting them back to you, magnified? It’s not about how they complain but rather what they complain about. Take some time and journal your personal believes about not having enough or your fears about your future. You may have to play with this for awhile, but if you are willing to give some energy to this process, I know you will connect with your personal beliefs. The third step is to “tune-up.” Reframe or reword your beliefs into a Truth that will release some of your fears and make you feel more in the flow of abundance? “Tune-up” to thoughts and feeling that help you feel relaxed about money and your future.

Be willing to “tune-in” to the radio waves you are broadcasting and accept them all with love. Be willing to “tune-up” your thoughts and emotions will raise the level of your personal frequency band.
