Here are some of the most common issues that entrepreneurs have when it comes to seeing out support, which I’m defining here as direct help in your business.

1. You don’t want to invest in support until you have more money. Yet you can’t make more money without support. That is the definition of a Catch-22! The easiest way out is to make the investment, however uncomfortable it is, and watch your business take off. One multi-million dollar coach has learned that every time she hires a new virtual assistant, her income goes up by $100K. She jokes that whenever she wants to earn more, she immediately considers hiring a new assistant!

2. You have issues around support: Do you deserve it? You feel that other people merit support, yet somehow you don’t. For every entrepreneur, your business is a mirror of YOU. It doesn’t show you other people, or the economy. It reveals you to yourself. Your business results mirror your deserve level. If you want to increase your results, then your task is to raise your deserve level.

3. “I can do it all myself. Why should I pay someone else, when I can do that work?” What builds your business? You doing administrative work, or you building your team? You creating your own web site, or you attracting more clients? You will earn the most money, most easily, when you work exclusively in your area of brilliance. Your business will run most easily when you stay in your brilliance vs. your competence, and allow other people to exercise their brilliance on what you can do merely competently.

CALL TO ACTION

Recognize yourself in any of these descriptions? If so, I strongly recommend you explore this and see where you can start to take action.

Your business can never grow beyond a certain size without extra hands. If you’re happy with your current size, that’s fine. If you want more business growth, then adding high-quality support is an important pathway-to-cash for you.

When you find the right support, your work will be made much easier. You will feel confident that a skilled person is doing the tasks as well as or better than you. Most likely, they’ll do it faster than you would, because they don’t get distracted by other business matters like you might. And they’ll do it more easily than you would, because they’ll be in their brilliance.

You may also find some joy in having a team to help you. You can benefit from bouncing your ideas off others, and receiving new ideas from your team members.
You will earn more money when you stay totally in your brilliance and receive support from others who are in their brilliance.
