Alpha level is the state of mind where everybody is using most part of the brain. With the growing congested and cluttered life, it is not possible to be in this state of consciousness. Now a days, we have lots of responsibilities and functions to perform at a time. We are driving and discussing our business deals with our colleagues at same time. The technology should be helpful to our life, but unfortunately, we have made it an essential part of our life machine, and as a result we are dependant of this technology rather than our brains. According to the Silva method, we can get better results from our brains at alpha state, but most of us are living in beta state.

Jose Silva, the founder of the Silva Method to control the mind, described the four state of mind.

1. Beta state: when you awake with all senses and have more thoughts in your minds, the brain pulse shows 15-26 cycles per second on EEG. It is also known as outer level of consciousness.
2. Alpha state: while light sleep or when you have total concentration at any object or function. The brain pulse shows 7-14 cycles per second on EEG. The mind cools down and gives you physical relief as well at this state.
3. Theta state: This state is below Alpha and brain pulse shows 4-7 cycles per second on the EEG. The mind gets the extreme of calmness in this state. You get this state of unconsciousness at the time of deep sleep.
4. Delta state: this is the last state of mind before death and you get it, while dreamless sleep. The EEG shows 0-4 cycles per second of your brain pulse at this state.

According to the Silva Method, you should try to change your routine of daily life. You can pull out yourself of the beta level of mind with practice and minor changes in your lifestyle. You can use a little part of your vast potential of mind in beta level, but in alpha state you can even use the most potential of your brain to complete a task. You can observe better, learn better, act better with proper use of brain potential and gain the best result of every function. You should try to go into the alpha state of mind regularly whenever possible. Slowly, you will get the control of mind, you will feel quiet relaxed and positive attitude towards every job you do. You will notice full awareness, attentive, and peace of mind with more practice. You will also feel better mental approach. With the improvised memory, enhanced intuitive and changed psychic capabilities, you will be able to think and act positively. You can gain better health, good business, best studies, and family relationship after reaching this state of mind most of the time. Imagine achieving every good thing in every sphere of your life, with the help of Alpha level of mind.
