There are many ways to apply the universal laws of attraction to your life. One of them can create good luck. But first, what is luck exactly? And how do you use it to your advantage?
What is luck?
On Sept. 9, 2010 over 6,000 couples got married en mass in Taiwan. Why? Because it was their lucky day! Taiwan’s calendar, which began with the founding of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in 1911, is in its 99th year, and it was the ninth month and day; hence 9-9-99. Nine is a lucky number in Taiwan and all those couples wanted good luck for their marriages.
Most people talk about luck in terms like, “You lucky dog!” or “Just my bad luck!” We compare ourselves to others and then decide who has better luck.
Here is what Napoleon Hill says about it in his famous book, Think and Grow Rich:
“…the subconscious mind will translate into its physical equivalent a thought impulse of a negative or destructive nature just as readily as it will act upon thought impulses of a positive or constructive nature. This accounts for the strange phenomenon, which so many millions of people experience, referred to as ‘misfortune’ or ‘bad luck.’
There are millions of people who believe themselves “doomed” to poverty and failure because of some strange force over which they believe they have no control. They are the creators of their own “misfortunes” because of this negative belief, which is picked up by the subconscious mind, and translated into its physical equivalent.”
Successful people don’t depend on luck, they create it.
Sometimes it seems like nothing is going your way and you can be tempted to say its bad luck. My advice is don’t do that. You can create your own good luck by using the universal laws of attraction with this simple exercise:
Take the lousy week you just had and write down all the things that went wrong. Then write down all the things that went well. It may be hard at first but if you persevere, you will find that there really are just as many good things that happened to you as bad. It’s just that your perception was tainted by the bad things. So it seemed like there were more bad than good. But that wasn’t really true, was it? It’s really a mater of attention. By putting your attention on the good things that happen that lousy week can seem like a great week. And nothing really changed except your attention and perception.
Changing your perception can alter how you feel, how you behave, and what kinds of opportunities, situations, and abundance you attract. If you can continue to shift your energy in this way, you are utilizing the universal Laws of Attraction to your advantage and creating your own luck.
