Happiness can be found in many different ways. In many different lives and to various degrees. But happiness is a living state that can only be sustained in one way. Happiness can be your friend or it can be your drug. But it can’t be both. You have to choose the type of happiness you want.
Happiness lives in the lost by way of sorrow, despair, hopelessness, self pity and blame. The lost connect with happiness through the words and the telling of the stories of situations which make the listener feel compassion. The feeling of compassion, the attention that is given is the happiness that the lost needs and feeds off. This form of happiness makes them feel like they are not alone. They feel loved for a moment. But this happiness doesn’t stay for long. This type of happiness only comes through the living and telling of sorrow and despair and requires a continuous supply of sorrow and despair to manufacture. The lost will always be lost.
Happiness lives in the seeker by way of confirmation. The seeker is determined to create situations that will result in someone else or something else giving them happiness. It is brought into their lives through material items, someone showing love, receiving appreciation and acknowledgement, from outside. It comes from the external world. The seeker is always chasing happiness and must rely on something beyond themselves to receive the gift of happiness.
Neither the lost or the seeker has the ability to fully control happiness. So it becomes something that has to be given. It is something that they cannot get without interacting with others or without having money to bring happiness into your their lives.
The found is the controler of happiness. They create happiness from within by way of perception. The found has learned the law of gratitude, the law of inner strength, and the law of being. They can see the beauty in each day and understand how to draw the feeling of happiness out of the simplest experience. The found is the master of themselves. They do not require external recognition or support to manifest happiness. When they receive external happiness it is a bonus, like icing on the cake.
The found have learned how to reach this state but the reality is that everyone who is found was once lost or was once the seeker. Very rarely does someone start as the found. Becoming found is the goal. It is the aspiration. But most people are the seekers with a touch of lost mixed in.
Once you understand this you can start to look for the signs that you are in the lost or in the seeker realm and work to correct it. To change it and to grow and become new and improved. Learn to make happiness a real part of your life. Make happiness your friend that you can rely on no matter what situations you’re facing. It will no longer be something that you are chasing like a drug but something that you receive through your understanding and your intentions.
This is the journey to manifest happiness in your life in abundance, everyday.
