Skin care should be a very important part of every ones day. Being the ultimate protector of our bodies, shielding our insides from whatever harm may happen from outside influences, the skin should be treated very well. This means using the right facial cleanser for your face at the time you need it and ever evolving further and further as you age. So to find the best facial cleanser for your face, you need to be aware what is in store for you at each age.

For those of us in our twenties, here is what you can expect. Your skin is finally starting to settle down after a surge of hormones in your teens produced some unpleasant experiences like acne and oily skin. Although, you may still have a little reminder of this in the form of scars from acne or an oily complexion, the majority of us start to settle. Those of us who smoke or drink or just have not learned how to properly take care of ourselves yet, this is when it will start to catch up with us. You will notice a duller complexion than used to and those bags under the eyes start to show more fully. This is the time to turn around and make our remaining years better than the former. Cleansing your face with a gentle exfoliate will be a big to do in our twenties. Another important factor to do is to PROTECT YOURSELF AGAINST THE SUN!! Sun damage is the cause of a lot of problems later on in life. Facial cleansers containing hydrating oils as well as exfoliates will be your saving grace. Take for example the ingredients Tangerine Oil. This natural ingredient, include in a ton of facial cleansers, which do just what I said above exfoliate and moisturize. Also, they help in the production of new skin cells which can be a very promising plus for the future.

Now as we progress to our thirties, if you have treated your skin good throughout your twenties than you have done a great job of preventing early aging and damage. Your thirties will be a little but easier to deal with. However, if this is not the case and you have been a reckless sunbather, you will definitely start to see the damage of the sun start fully appearing on your face. This comes in the form of sun spots, and possibly small scaly skin lesions that could eventually turn into skin cancer. If this is so, a visit to your dermatologist is in order. People who have been dieting a lot, or you smokers, will start to also notice a dullness in your appearance; with dry skin and the formation of lines. Something even the healthiest of us cannot deny are the lines that start to form from thirty years plus of muscle movement. These are the crow’s feet from squinting and smiling, the lines around our mouth from frowning or smiling as well, and the lines on our foreheads from a furrowed brow or any other reason we scrunch the forehead area. In your thirties, the reason for all of this showing of age is because your body is starting the slowing down process; cells are being produced less, elasticity of the skin is starting to give out a touch, and our resistance to certain elements is down. For those of us in this point of our lives, it is time to use a moisturizing/hydrating facial cleanser, a face moisturizer with the same hydrating elements as a facial cleanser, and probably some form of anti wrinkle or line product to cleanse our face of the early signs of aging. Hydrating facial cleansers and moisturizers that contain elements like Chamomile Oil or Olive Leaf Extract. Both of these natural based ingredients cleanse the face as well as allowing for the production of new cell growth to speed up. Also for those with the sun damage of their twenties starting to show, Olive Leaf Extract especially, these facial cleanser and moisturizer ingredients helps heal the lesion that appear on our face. For the anti age products, it is time to start thinking about an eye cream or gel to add to the facial cleansers and moisturizer use you may have already started. You still have time to correct your facial mistakes, but make sure you do it.

The forties are the new thirties are what I have heard, and if you have taken great care of your skin throughout your earlier years, this is very true. You may notice fat start to be dwindling in your face but this only if you are genetically predisposed to it. Also the above what I talked about (wrinkles from muscle movement, sun damage, lines, dry skin) will start to become even more pronounced. Especially since most of us in our late forties (I am talking about the female race here) will start becoming premenopausal, dry skin and the elasticity of our skin start to diminish at a fast rate causing the skin to start sagging a little. Doing what is said above about using a facial cleanser and moisturizer that is hydrating will help offset these issues, and using the anti aging eye creams will help too, but you need a little more. Creams with a heavier base will be very beneficial. What I mean by “heavier base” is a thicker cream to protect the skin even further than before. Ingredients I mentioned above for our thirties facial cleanser moisturizer talk should still be used, but you should also add a little more focus towards wrinkles and lines ingredients as well. Matrixyl is an example of one of these ingredients. Working from a DNA level outwards, this element kick starts the collagen and elastin fiber production process we need to keep our skin smooth and wrinkle free.

The fifties and on requires just a step above the forties. You need to keep using a moisturizer and facial cleanser that provide that extra hydration to your skin. You also should focus more on ingredients that contain the ability to produce more collagen and elastin fibers in your body, but in all honesty you will already have built up a pretty good skin care routine over the years so there is no need to worry. You are doing all the right things for your face, so now it is time to just enjoy the ride.

As we age, it seems all we have to do is keep adding on to our already present daily cleansing routine. As long as you continually make sure to take the extra precautions of sun screen and moisturizing you will age gracefully. Growing older does not have to be a scary experience with the right facial cleansers, moisturizers, and creams in your tool bag of skin care. Believe me if you take care of your skin, it will forever take care of you. No more worries, with the advice above, you’ve got this under control.
