This year is the year for change! Are you procrastinating on starting a business, making a career move, making time to spend with the ones you love, taking better care of your health? Remember, only you have the power to change your life. So, what are you waiting for? By 2010 what will you have accomplished? Start today and if you need help…just ask!

Have you ever been stopped dead in your tracks with dealing with the turmoil of life? Not knowing what YOU can do to save your home, marriage, finances, improve the quality of your health. Well so have I. Let me share this with you… stop trying to handle it alone!

A person dear to my heart ask me the other day, “Why did you name your life coaching practice Never Journey Alone?” I didn’t hesitate to answer because to me it was simple. I named my practice Never Journey Alone, because for years I went through life thinking that I could do everything on my own and when the pressure of life would start to wear me down I would find myself saying, “How can I fix it? How can I make it better? Where will I get the money I need? When will I get it together and start following my dreams? But I soon realized that I can’t do it alone and I was definitely using to many “I” statements. The sad thing is we often truly believe we can do it alone and get stuck in a never ending cycle of stress, loss, depression, and/or illness.

God did not put you on this Earth alone to weather the storms of life or to experience stress that breaks you to the very core of your being. “Never Journey Alone” is a constant reminder to me and I hope that it will be to you, that we NEVER have to stand alone in this world and that asking for help does not under no circumstance make you weak… It makes you human. Because now you the “1” have become “2” fighting against the pressures of life and when you add prayer to that equation, it makes you powerful!

My mission as a Life Coach is to be that other “1” in the equation who coaches clients through the stress they are experiencing (relational, financial, health, spiritual) that is hindering them from reaching their full potential in life. As well as, provide them with the tools and resources to utilize through out their life to remain successful!

I teach my children everyday that asking for help is necessary! When my 3 year old daughter gets frustrated with trying to tie her shoes and starts to cry or sometimes …falls out into a full fledge tantrum! I gently remind her that she needs to simply ask for help and I will help her do whatever it is she is trying to accomplish.

This month I wanted to just remind you and those you will share this article with, that you are not here alone and asking for help or delegating the workload does not make you weak or diminish your control. It simply frees our mind, body and spirit from the never ending cycle of stress we put on ourselves, to authentically engage in what your “Soul Purpose” is in life.

Stay well and blessed always,
Christine
