Webster’s defines the word “commit?as: to pledge or devote oneself

To that definition I add: to pledge or devote one’s attention. In every moment, our attention is committed to something. If you are reading this right now, it is what your attention is committed to.

If you want something in your life that you are not experiencing, I suggest you first look to where you spend your time and money. There you will find what you are truly committed to.

If you want a great relationship, but find your eyes wandering; question your focus and intensity. Great romances have passion and fire; Intensity and focus. They embody the word commitment and last a lifetime. Passing fancies come and go.

If you want to be wealthy, but spend your time and money on “disposable?goods you probably won’t get there. You’re committed to the wrong things to accomplish that goal. Question your commitment to the result you desire. It isn’t a question of good or bad, right or wrong. It is the truth; an opportunity for you to learn about yourself and make proactive choices.

Transformation is a discipline
Discipline requires commitment
Commitment requires faith
