Dr. Madan Kataria of India, creator of Laughter Yoga, believes laughter is truly the best medicine. Laughter increases endorphins, improves breathing, and fights feelings of depression. Laughter Clubs throughout the world are adopting his theory that 20 minutes of laughter a day can improve your health.
Becoming a Laughter Yoga® Leader is empowering. Recently I attended a party where the people seemed to have nothing in common (translation: boring). I suggested we all go out onto the grass and I'd show them some Laughter Yoga exercises. What a hit! Even the grumpiest (least likely to have fun) of the group had the best time laughing. Laughter Yoga is a great way to transform energy and encourage healing among perfect strangers.
Absolutely inspiring video! We did Laughter Yoga at our graduation retreat for the Voice for Love program. It was very uplifting. Highly recommend this as a daily practice.
What an inspiring vid! I'm inspired by Dr. Madan Kataria's story of how this idea came to him at 4 in the morning to start a laughter club. I also found myself laughing as I watched. Speaks to how infectious laughter is. A great feel good vid!
