At a very young age, Zura discovered that creativity can help through difficult circumstances. She has continued to use that discovery throughout her life. Now, at 58, she shares her love of creative fun to help others discover who they are and fulfill their dreams.
As an occupational therapist she used creativity and humor to assist her clients in reaching their goals. She worked with children with learning disabilities, developmentally disabled infants, autistic children and adults in a psychiatric setting. She found that regardless of age or situation, all people want to be themselves but find it difficult to know how to do that. That difficulty causes frustration in many peoples' lives.
Zura is known to be down-to-earth and sincere in dealing with others, but her passion is unavoidable. She loves people and loves encouraging them and helping them find their core passions and taking life further.
Through her website, Creative Clown, Zura provides encouragement, insight and information for anyone who desires to get to know themselves better. She does this with childlike fun and humor. Using creative activities such as art journaling, and other art techniques, Zura believes that anyone can have the life they dream of.
"It's about the process, and the fun you have in that process, not the outcome ", says Zura.

Paint, pencils, glue and scissors automatically take us back to our childhood. These tools are invaluable for tapping into the lower parts of the brain where the real you lives. Visual art, journaling, music, poetry and other creative processes are the perfect venue for self discovery.
I believe that we all can learn more about ourselves through creative activities. By learning more we can focus on who we are and who we want to become, thus eliminating frustration, stress, anger, illness and unhappiness from our lives.
