Owner / Artist, Trent Hutton has worked as a sculptor in the commercial arts industry for over 10 years. Starting his career in Toronto, Ontario, he began sculpting for various commercial studios which involved the production of mascots, television/movie sets, sand/snow sculpture, amusement park attractions and private commissions. Trent moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in 2004 and became involved in sculpted rock environments. After spending several years working with some of the best concrete rockwork contractors in Brisith Columbia's lower mainland, Trent established his own business, Wavestone Sculpture. From ancient times humanity has built sacred spaces to connect with its higher consciousness. We build these sacred spaces to heighten our awareness, sharpen our focus and symbolically remind ourselves of our true divinity. Many ancient spaces could be considered to be more of an instrument rather than a work of architecture. These instruments are the tools that we implement to separate ourselves from the everyday routine and realign our consciousness in whatever manner we wish. A sacred space is the reflection of man and nature which stimulates a conversation of beauty deep within.
The best way to get a feeling for what Wavestone Sculpture can provide for you is to visit our website and take a look at the “Rockwork Gallery”. This will provide you with photos that may inspire you for the creation of your own spa, sanctuary or waterfall.
