In my arrogance I thought I knew what an abused, storm worn, beaten down woman looked like. Then I saw A Strong Woman Hiding. From the street gutter of a drug addict, to the heights of elite athleticism and now as a Hollywood Stuntwoman, it is hard to imagine one could struggle with issues of fear, shame, and a healthy whole identity. In a society that has defined what a woman role is to be…we have all worn a mask to live up to others expectations, power our way through, or cover up our own insecurity. Everyone deals with some level of fear, shame and discouragement. In my job as a stuntwoman, I wear masks and cover ups. In my life as a Coach, I champion women to remove them.
