Stephen is a licensed Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and a Thought Field Therapy (TFT) practitioner in Norwich, Norfolk. He comes to training with a long background as a managing consultant. He's also a coach, chartered IT professional and chartered engineer.
Stephen first encountered NLP in 1998, when he took negotiation / influencing skills training to promote his professional skills. Not only did he learn powerful communication skills on that training, he learned amazing techniques for personal resourcefulness that served him well. What impressed him is that NLP isn't about faking it, making temporary changes or merely suppressing any negative feelings. Its about building new habits so you can be as naturally resourceful as any role model.
At this time (2008) it's ten years since that first training. In that time Stephen has completed the Society of NLP's certifications at Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Trainer levels. He has trained with several NLP training organisations, most notably Paul McKenna Training, where he trained personally with Paul McKenna, John La Valle (president of the Society of NLP) and NLP co-creator Dr. Richard Bandler. He has also trained with Eric Robbie, the UK's most senior NLP trainer who was once described as "one of the three best trainers in the world" by Richard Bandler.
As well as teaching NLP and personal resourcefulness skills, Stephen runs network groups for NLP practitioners, writes articles and assists other trainers on their courses. He also provides personal enhancement consultancy to many clients.
The reason I set my training business up is because I want to get NLP out to people so more and more people can learn to use it to benefit themselves and others. I'm talking about pure NLP, taught as a skill so it can be used by anybody, for freedom, the way Richard Bandler intended it to be taught.
