Stefanie Sabounchian was born and raised in Germany, Europe. After three years of training as a medical assistant, Stefanie worked for eight years in the general practice of a medical doctor in Germany. She studied and practiced foot reflexology in Germany for several years before coming to the United States.
In Los Angeles, California, Stefanie studied The Flocco Method and earned her Professional Reflexology Certificate in Integrated Foot Hand Ear Reflexology from the American Academy of Reflexology (AAR) in 2002. In addition she is certified by the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB). Since she already practiced Foot Reflexology successfully, the study of Integrated Foot, Hand and Ear Reflexology was an opportunity for her to enhance her skills. She learned that working all three systems, the Feet, Hands and Ears, appears to be more effective than working on just one of these systems.
Stefanie has a thriving full time Reflexology practice in Southern California with private and corporate clients in the greater Los Angeles Area and Inland Empire. She teaches Foot Hand Ear Reflexology at several schools including the American Academy of Reflexology where her professionalism, passion for Reflexology and her genuine sincerity has endeared her to all of her students. She was president of the Reflexology Association of California (RAC) in 2008 -2010 and is still an active member of the Advisory Board. She is also a member of the Reflexology Association of America and the International Council of Reflexologists.
Her passion to help other people led her to become the experienced Reflexology practitioner she is today. She continues to deepen her understanding of wellness and health and to improve her skills with classes and workshops.
