Sharla thrives in the face of adversity, understanding that everything that happens to us ~ happens for us. Her personal journey’s of sorrow, divorce, losing her first son’s father to a violent crime, a blended family full of challenges, her second son being diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a rare form of childhood eye cancer and much more, led Sharla to embrace adversity that life brings, seek God’s JOY and BLESSINGS in each moment and live a life on a path of grace.

Sharla lives in Vancouver, Wash with her husband and three boys (“his, mine and ours”) and their Labradoodle, Zoe.  Together they enjoy camping, hiking, musical events and different Portland activities.  Personally Sharla loves to travel, read, sail and photography.
