SUCCESS PRINCIPLES EXPERT
My presence on the internet was brought about by a “fortunate circumstance” that is happening with regularity across the US; unemployment. Prior to that, I was enjoying my status as a commercial construction superintendent. I was doing well in a top field management position and fully expected it to continue.
Downsizing due to the economy changed everything overnight. The company that I was working for couldn’t compete and went out of business. There was no work, and in spite of my dedication and the success I had achieved, it all went away.
In my early years, I began a search to find myself and what I wanted to do in life. This took the form of a spiritual quest and I found myself training under a Japanese Zen Master for several intensive years. This had a profound effect on my life that endures to this day. The knowledge that I acquired left me deeply spiritual but non-religious. It gave me a true insight into what it means to be successful in life.
I did not grow up in a rich family, so when I needed to earn money I became part of America’s workforce. I started at the bottom and worked my way up in the construction industry. As a superintendent, I ran multimillion dollar commercial construction projects. The work was strenuous but I found that I could do it well. It was very satisfying and the pay was good.
I managed to take time out and attend a University, working towards a Degree. I had to put it on hold one year from graduating due to the pressure of providing an income for my family.
In considering my options after getting laid off, I realized that it wasn’t the degree that was important, it was what I knew. Degrees are good if there are jobs, whereas knowledge can be applied at any time.
I saw that I understood how to be successful and that I had all of the training and tools necessary to use what I knew. I had been mentored by successful people in the business, academic and spiritual worlds. I had successfully put their wisdom into practice and observed what worked and what didn’t. I had the advantage of having access to volumes of information on success written by the most successful people in history. I got to watch extremely successful people at work and play. I was exposed to the world of successful people and understood how they think and how they live.
I realized that the last thing I wanted was a job. I was meant to create my own success. I enjoy the hard work, the challenge, the exhilaration of succeeding. I have the entrepreneurial spirit and can withstand the inevitable setbacks. I knew I would succeed.
When I considered what type of business I wanted to create, I had to look at what was most important to me. Money alone has never been my primary motivating factor. Success in life is the most important. The feeling of living in harmony and connection with the world is the most important. A happy life spent cultivating good relationships that endure is important to me. Teaching others what I know about all this is important to me.
I have no problem accepting money if it is the result of having a successful life. I enjoy seeing money used to uplift lives. Money is not necessarily a bad thing. We do have a choice to determine how it makes us feel and the affects it has on others.
I see a lot of unnecessary misery in the world. I believe that the solution is to teach everyone how to be successful. The meaning of success is not the same for everyone. I do believe that everyone can be successful in their own way.
The opportunity that I saw for myself was writing and teaching about success. The internet is the perfect way to reach the most people. It was obvious once I recognized it.
I write about good information, knowledge, success skills and getting the right mindset. I bring out all the fundamentals that have ensured success from ancient times to the present. I write about principles that never change and dramatically improve the lives of practitioners. I write about creating success.
Success and Passion go hand in hand. I know that we succeed at things that we truly love. The only other ingredient we need to succeed is the right information. That is my focus. I want to provide information that focuses everyone's passion like a laser. To provide the right information I created created my website called Entrepreneur Ebooks.I combine my articles, videos, book reviews and lots of entrepreneur ebooks.
Although abrupt and traumatic, losing my job was a fortunate circumstance. It was a catalyst for creating a new and better way to work and live.
