Rena Hedeman is a professional career and life coach, helping people find passion and purpose through career transition and personal evolution. She is also a motivational speaker and mentor to professionals seeking more meaningful success.
She received a BA from Yale University and coach training from CoachVille’s Center for Coaching Mastery, an intensive two-year program accredited by the International Coaching Federation. Before becoming a full-time coach, she worked in PR and professional fundraising for 10 years and then ran her own successful decorative painting business for 11 years, becoming renowned in Boston’s high-end interior design field.
As a coach, Rena specializes in helping people in career transition, although she is trained to facilitate success in all areas of life including business, personal relationships, health and wellness, spirituality, finances, work/life balance, and emotional well-being. She is passionate about understanding what makes people successful, and she collaborates with clients to unleash their own personal potential and create the life of their dreams.
Rena likes to live life to the fullest, and her wide range of experiences helps strengthen her effectiveness as a coach. She rowed on the Yale Varsity Women’s Crew team for four years, worked in a hospital in rural Haiti, lived in many different cities around the world, trekked to Mount Everest in Nepal, visited sacred sites in Thailand, and climbed active volcanoes in Indonesia. She is inspired by the work of the Dalai Lama, Wayne Dyer, Michael & Rickie Beckwith, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, Louise Hay, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, among many others.
Rena believes that “in each of us lies the code to our own divine wisdom, our own innate knowing. If we can learn to quiet the ego and work through our own fears and self-doubts, we are capable of far more than we ever dreamed possible. It is my privilege to help others discover that truth and power deep within themselves, to learn to trust their own divine intuition, and create the life of their dreams!”
