Relationships are something that brings us the most joy in life. My personal life experience and own therapy have given me compassion for the twists and turns that relationships take. By respecting the unique nature of each individual, I have seen firsthand how a steady counseling relationship can make all the difference.
I perform marriage counseling in San Jose because I enjoy helping couples. My theoretical orientation in couples counseling is solution-focused brief therapy. The solution-focused aspect stems from the value I place on working with the strengths of a couple’s relationship. The brief part is because of the importance of finding solutions quickly so couples can begin to feel better and enjoy more harmony and connection. My role as a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist is to listen carefully and to respond thoughtfully as we create a new way of relating to one another.
