Nora Wellington, CEO / Founder N Wellington Associates LLC is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. She currently consults with long term care facilities and assists staff to maintain compliance with the Federal long term care regulations. She has managed and operated skilled nursing facilities for over nineteen years. She has held management positions to the level of executive position. She is a published author of "The Fundamentals of Quality for Long Term Care Part 1" and she has developed monitoring tools to help these facilities maintain compliance, including the requirements for participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Wellington is also working with older adult consumers and their families to provide needed information relative to the long term care system.
Wellington also develops training modules and workshops for small businesses for both their management teams and staff. She is a Business Coach.
Wellington obtained her Bachelor in Business Administration from Howard Nuiversity and he Masters in Business Administration from George Washington University, both in Washington, DC. She is member of the District of Columbia Healthcare Association, member of the American College of Health Care Administrators. She serves her community as Senior Warden (equivalent to Chairman of the Board) of her Episcopal church in Maryland.
