I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently practicing in South Florida. I received my BS degree from Florida State University and a Masters in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. I completed a clinical internship at The Watershed, a residential treatment facility serving adolescents and adults with substance abuse disorders, and a second clinical internship at The Renfrew Center, the nation's leading treatment center for eating disorders.
I've been employed by The Renfrew Center since 2006 and have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families on issues related to eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, codependency, anger management, self-esteem, assertiveness training, and coping with major life transitions.
As an advocate working to promote education and awareness of Eating Disorders, I am often called on by South Florida High Schools and Universities to present on a variety of issues related to eating disorders, body image, and self-esteem. I am a co-founder, facilitator, and professional sponsor of the Broward County Chapter of ANAD (an eating disorder support group).
