“The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them.” Albert Einstein
Leadership development, developing emotional intelligence, advanced interpersonal and communication skills, performance/sales coaching. I use consciousness coaching, ontological and customised coaching models as directed by client. I enjoy achieving tangible successes with my clients and also these are the area’s I am personally most competent in.
With experience in Human Resources and recruitment and training I believe I was always headed in the direction of coaching. As the GM Recruitment for a People Development company I was introduced to the world of coaching through a coaching academy they had put together. The coaching academy was run by the People Business and as an introduction it served it’s purpose as I really felt natural and at home with the process, material and thought stream of coaching. I was aware that I wanted a lot more exposure and to immerse in this field so I left to complete an ICF accredited coaching academy in 2005. On that academy I have also become the highest qualified facilitator in South Africa and am still very involved.
I acknowledge and stay up to date with all philosophies and latest thought around personal development, transformation, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and the coaching world. My personal philosophy is to stay open, stay in the realm of development, buy nothing as the absolute truth and rather focus on what works. This is different from client to client, so I believe that the ability to listen fully, have no agenda, be open to feedback, and ask quality questions and to have courage to reflect back directly is my personal approach and belief.
I do have the ability and knowledge to employ tools and models such as GROW etc though have them all behind me not in front as in I don’t lead with anything as it may not be what this client needs in this moment.
One belief I do have is to have integrated the various values, emotional maturity and higher levels of awareness myself before sharing the value with another so it can be present at an authentic level rather than conceptual.
The boundaries are the terms of the coaching engagement which are clear and can only be stepped outside of with mutual consent.
