I grew up in Vermont where eating seasonally and raising our own food was a way of life. Despite all those long summer days of working in the garden--or maybe because of it--those were some of the happiest and healthiest days of my life.
After working for a number of years as a freelance writer for several regional publications, I found my interests turning more and more toward health and wellness and I decided to go back to school to continue my education. In June 2007, I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (in NYC, affiliated with Columbia University) and I now have a private practice located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. In addition to my work as a Health Counselor, I also write a monthly health and wellness column which appears in the Fairfield County Times in Connecticut and the Westchester County Times in New York.
I have always believed that eating healthfully is fundamental to a healthy and truly happy lifestyle and I am pleased now to be able to share my knowledge, experience and vision.

You can see beyond the thoughts you think into another way of being..."
