"Stress, pain, and mindbody health concerns require a combination of methods because no one approach works for everyone or every situation. I believe in an AIDs cocktail approach to healing. When the AIDs epidemic was exploding, health experts attempted to find the "magic drug" or treatment that would provide a cure. Eventually, we acknowledged a lack of success and aimed our efforts in developing an "AIDs cocktail" which involved a combination of drugs and compounds, each of which potentiated the effects of the others. It is this synergy that mobilized healing.
In my practice, I find an entry point method that privodes the best chance of immediate success for any given situation. Sometimes, this is as simple as breathing or noticing body resources that have become disconnected or practicing gratefulness. When each stepping stone to healing brings reliably positive results, then we find the next one to set in place until the momentum bridges the gap between imbalance and wholeness."
