Although not discovering the home-based business industry until 41 years of age, Kellie Blackwell unknowingly spent her whole life preparing for that moment when she did find it (or it found her) and therefore became easily and fully immersed in it quickly. How? Kellie's passion for helping others came naturally, at a very young age, and led her career path along an amazing, winding road that created the skills and knowledge to not only find, but have success with, the home-based business industry.

To back up a bit, Kellie started her career in Microbiology, where she helped people by determining what bacteria, virus, parasite, or otherwise was making them ill and then running additional tests to determine the best form of treatment. After 9 years, however, she came to the realization that helping others shouldn't have to mean living a life of meager income, plus it was a tumultous time in the lab industry with labs constantly merging, requiring her to move or start over 3 times in 9 years. For the low pay, it wasn't worth the constant starting over, so she moved into Corporate America, where her income increased by 56% overnight. She traveled around the world teaching laboratory and hospital staff how to begin utilizing software technology in their day-to-day jobs, and with the aging population of most lab staff, that meant really helping them learn the most basic of computer skills, on up to use of the latest.

Although in moving into the Corporate world Kellie had succeeded in increasing her income while still helping others, she knew there had to be better ways to generate substantial income that wasn't linear, meaning time traded for pay. Once again, she had experienced the sting of being an employee, since corporate takeovers, position eliminations, and geographical move requirments dominated her next 9 years, forcing her to reinvent herself 3 times just to stay with the company. No lie – her last position was working in the Finance Department. Microbiology to Finance? Crazy!

Since she had already experienced how to create passive income helping others, by holding private mortgages for them, so she began looking for similar, alternative income opportunities. That's when the work-from-home industry and residual income crossed her path, and it was the perfect fit. It added a new income stream, while contributing to a more healthy work/life balance, and all while keeping true to her life's core value of helping others. She now introduces others to the same concept and mentors those who also choose to walk away from the Corporate structure and demands and make a change in their life for the better. She no longer commutes to a job, punches a clock, or worries about the inevitable takeover or job change and she loves helping others do the same.

If you, or someone you know, was taught to go to school, get a degree, and work for 40 years for a company in order to get ahead in life and be set for retirement, like Kellie, the new reality is that's not possible. Give yourself, or them, the same 4 years of work experience education in working for yourself/themselves from home and creating passive and residual income streams. Enjoy life now.
