God always responds to us, but there is no ear to catch our words and thoughts. The direct connection to Divinity comes from our powerful emotions. They exist in the silence of vibration. Our positive feelings are the holiest means of communication because a passionately-felt emotion vibrates at an intensity that propels us into the recognition of our oneness with God. In that awareness, we remember all possibilities for good exist. Here, we speak the universal language of God, not through thoughts or words, but through our feelings. When we fall on our knees in heartfelt prayer, it is our emotions that convey our deepest desires. God’s grace answers with love. (Excerpt from McDonald's non-fiction novel, "God IS I Am")
(All the following quotes/thoughts come from my personal blog at www.godisaverb.com/blog):
I understand we need a term when we speak of God, but in the instant we name it, it is no longer that. Why? Because it isn’t singular. It is All. And even in saying that, I’m not really grasping it, because I can’t possibly know what All is.
We aren’t mere pieces of God. God isn’t split into trillions of parts. It is all coming from the same Source and everything is held within it. What is in one part is in all parts. You are holographic in nature. You are whole and complete as God. How do I know this? Because I believe God is all.
We are sharing the experience of being. My thoughts and actions are placed into universal consciousness as energy forms. So are yours.
We could be oh so close to tipping the scales to where peace, love, wholeness, and bliss are the only experience of this life. What if you are the final piece of the puzzle? It is possible that one more person is all it takes.
God does not ever abandon you. It is not possible, because everywhere you go, there God is.
A lot of our time is spent worrying about things we predict will happen. Hardly any of them do. In fact, 95% of the scenarios we imagine will come to fruition never do.
Every day, we are getting closer and closer to proving there is, indeed, a God. But what if God isn’t what you believe It/Him/Her to be? Are you prepared to accept an answer that could be vastly different than what you have always been told is true?
If you still pray to a presence or being outside of yourself, you could easily be included in the group of people who are going to be shocked at what science is uncovering.
I often joked that my father was a horrible example of what one should do, but he did a great job of showing me what not to do! I could be grateful for that.
People are always looking for others to complete them. Rather than looking within, we choose to look for someone else to meet our needs. It is easier that way, because if they don’t fulfill the role, we can blame them for the resulting pain and frustration.
Every second holds a promise and a gift. There is nothing held in a future time that is not available to us now.
You will never have more than you already have in this very moment, because you are sitting in the midst of All.
I believe every person has skills and talents unique to themselves. These talents born into us at birth will die if they are not born through us in life.
It isn’t that God can heal you. In God’s presence, there is nothing to heal. The only healing needed is your belief in anything less than perfection.
I see God as everything, being. The word “being” is the key. Not a being…simply, being.
We’re going to pull over at the next rest stop and celebrate with a picnic. You did bring the sandwiches, didn’t you? Not to worry…I have more than enough. High five!!
The only one who can stop something from coming to you is yourself!
