Together with his wife, Maria Del Rey-Schaller,
they are Grammy-nominated producers of bilingual children’s media and have
received numerous awards including a Carnegie grant, The Parent's Choice Gold

support pain relief, improve rest, support addiction recovery and create healing
environments.
Schaller is founder and Executive

not-for-profit organization, that trains clinicians and volunteers in hospices,
hospitals, churches, nursing homes and community service organizations how to use
therapeutic recorded and live music to relieve pain and suffering.
Nationally, Sound Covenant conducts
workshops that equip professional and at-home caregivers to use music to
support their clinical work. Thousands
of volunteers, clinicians and caregivers have been mentored in the use of

Music has documented, powerful effects upon our nervous systems. It can support and/or change our heart and respiratory rate, impose an order upon our brain functions that help us to concentrate, and it can help to relieve pain and its accompanying anxiety.
The challenge is to find music suitable to the need with regards to tempo, instrumentation, intent, dynamic range, harmonic content and artiistic merit.
I always seek to strip away the misinformation, inflated esoteric trappings, and 'woo- woo' anecdotal ramblings associated with some healing music, and present excellent products that have sound, measurable, documented effects along with high creative design.
Playig at the bedside for hundreds of patients has provided me with unparrelled experience in choosing and creating music that can relieve pain and anxiety, support recovery and create a healing environment.
Think about all the places in your daily life where you hear music. It truly underscores our life. Music is powerful and that's why it has accompanied many of our cultural traditions througout the world since the dawn of history.
Consider harnessing the power of music to support healing and recovery from passing or chronic illness. Thousands of research papers now document the benefits of therapeutic music.
