"Finally, a program that works near miracles in helping victims to deal with bullies. After more thantwo years of implementing Izzy’s principles, the students at William SnyderElementary School smile at one another with confidence. Our school climate ispleasant and conducive to learning. Discipline referrals for bullying behaviorshave decreased significantly. Teachers can now teach more because the kids arehandling their own issues. And (drum roll here)...our test scores are going UP.In a school where the population is 63% Hispanic, our school reached everytesting goal. In my 15 years as a school counselor, I have never seen a moreeffective social skills program. This one is pure genius.” - Jeannie Brewer,School Counselor, Snyder Elementary, Las Vegas, Nevada

“Bullies to Buddies™ is the most effective anti-bullyingprogram I have encountered in my 14 years as a school counselor. It givesvictims the tools and strategies necessary to handle difficult situations, thusincreasing their self esteem. Parents are thrilled and some of them arepracticing the skills with their children. The teachers and aides feel relievedthat they no long need to handle every tiny little tattle or situation. This savesan enormous amount of time in the classroom and children find that they havemore time to play. The teachers not only used the strategies of Bullies toBuddies™ in their classroom but also with their husbands, children and exes.”
Vickie Kolb, School Counselor Brandon Valley SchoolDistrict
“Your strategies turn studentsinto winners almost immediately. You have allowed our classroom teachers to getback to the business of teaching and have reduced the need for them to beconstant conflict managers. This approach works. For the sake of our students,I hope all educators, parents and teachers will give it a try.” -Jane Steinkamp, Principal, the Jefferson School, Tracy, California
“I have seen every other programdesigned to stop this problem, but Izzy’s is the only one that works!”
-Paul Reddick, Chairman,American Sportsmanship Association
“I have conducted lessons fromBullies to Buddies™ throughout my school. The children thoroughly enjoy thelessons, really listen and participate, and use the skills daily. They get a kick out of"teasing" me, the counselor, as we do the role-plays; yet, they arelearning as they have fun. Theyhave felt empowered and I have personally seen significant changes in their self-esteem and socialskills. I recommend this programfor any educator working with children elementary age and up.”
Julie Doody, Counselor, EliseWolff ES
“A child was sent to me who hadbeen teased by a whole group of children as a result of an incident at recess.I took him through the steps that I learned from Bullies to Buddies and within15 minutes this child was able to go back to class and continue learning. Theteacher was amazed at the transformation. I was able to teach the whole classthe technique, which resulted in more time on task and more learning. Thestudents got along better and the learning environment became more pleasant andenjoyable for everyone. Izzy is a master of making this learning fun and easyto teach.”

My name is Izzy Kalman. I have been working as a school psychologist and psychotherapist since 1978 [CREDENTIALS].
For the past two decades, I've been intensively helping victims of teasing and bullying. The methods I have developed I believe are the quickest, easiest, and most natural that exist.
Columbine, Santana, and the other school massacres have brought the suffering of victims of teasing and bullying to the world's attention. Unfortunately, most of the things our country (and the world) are doing to solve the problem are misguided and are causing more harm than good. That's why I created Bullies2Buddies.com -- to provide the world with the correct understanding and solution to the problem of teasing and bullying.
Mission
Bullies2Buddies.com is dedicated to ending the suffering of victims of teasing and bullying throughout the world. The only reliable way to do that is byempowering victims to solve their problem and turn their bullies into buddies.
The only reason that people become victims of relentless teasing and bullying is that they do not practice Freedom of Speech. The attitude, “You have no right to say that,” is the source of almost all anger and aggression between people. Freedom of Speech is the ultimate solution to the problem of teasing and bullying. The attitude, “You have the right to say whatever you want, and it is perfectly OK,” is the simple secret for preventing victimization. Granting others this right is the most basic ingredient for peace, understanding, and love between people.
