I am an expert in the field of addiction and application of 12 Step principles, and in particular the quest to discover a Higher Power. I personally have over 22 years of experience cultivating and maintaining quality sobriety.
My work as a Spiritual Life Coach helps individuals investigate concepts such as the differences between religion and spirituality; differences between the actions of people and actions of God; and other perspectives worth exploring, like, why, if there is a good God, are people starving, or the good dying young, or innocents violated? Just having the conversation helps unlock strongholds, biases and prejudices that prevent us from pondering the meaning of life, the universe and our purpose.
My qualifications include living successfully for half a century. I’ve been married for 37 years; I am a mother to two successful adult children both in recovery and a grandmother fortunate enough to nurture and encourage; most of all, I enjoy a passionate walk with God. In addition, I have hands on experience in drug and alcohol treatment centers where I am a highly rated group facilitator, working with individuals beginning their spiritual journey. I received my certification as a life coach with the ICF accredited Coach Training Institute in 2006.
I host various six week coaching programs for marriage relationships, parenting, team building. Currently, I am offering a four session coaching program to prepare individuals searching for employment. I speak and direct retreats focusing on the individual's personal quest to find and experience God.
If I'm not working, I'm out somewhere in the USA riding my Harley Davidson.
I found a love, greater than life itself,
I found a love, stronger and nothing compates
I once was lost, now I am alive in You.

The lifestyle of an active addict is desperately dark. We learn in our 12 Step program that no human power can relieve our suffering. Spiritual power infuses the soul with extraordinary vitality.
I offer a 20 minute discovery session over the phone where my potential clients and I have some time to get to know one another. This session is complimentary. Moving forward in a coaching relationship, fees are negotiated according to resources to pay. I can be reached by phone: (916) 985-8778 or email: heather.duzan@gmail.com.
