Glenn Harrold is an author, musician and
experienced clinical hypnotherapist who has helped thousands of clients
over a wide range of stress related problems. He has combined his
hypnotherapy skills with an extensive recording knowledge to produce a

awarded a gold disc for sales of over £250,000.

Glenn’s has over 15 years of experience as a clinical hypnotherapist in one to one therapy sessions, and in recent
years he has worked with many high profile and celebrity clients. He is a full Diplomat member of the British School of Clinical Hypnosis
who are the only hypnotherapy organisation in the UK affiliated with
the training of NHS doctors and other health professionals in the art
of hypnotherapy.

Background Story

Before
becoming a hypnotherapist, Glenn was a performing and recording
musician who spent many years making a living playing guitar in bars
and clubs. In his teens as a punk rocker he played the bass in a band
called The Vagrants who morphed into the Sugar Ray Five. In 1983 they
won £10,000 in the BBC1 national Battle of the Bands. They were then
signed to a major label, released a couple of singles and appeared on
various TV shows, but alas their all too brief taste of success came
and went like Haley’s Comet.

After turning his back on the hedonistic world of rock and roll in search of a ‘proper job’, Glenn eventually found his
vocation as a hypnotherapist. He began producing his first hypnosis tapes in the late 1990’s, primarily to help support
his clients. His passion for hypnotherapy combined with an extensive recording knowledge enabled him to produce unique,
high quality hypnosis recordings.

When I released my first tapes in 1997 I had no master plan other than
a genuine desire to make the most effective tapes possible. Much to my
delight and amazement the tapes sold well from the first day that I
sold them into a local chemist store. I literally used to drive round
to a number of local stores selling them for a fiver a piece on sale or
return!

I
still get a real kick that so many people from all over the world enjoy
my recordings and get help from them. I feel I’ve done okay for a kid
who was kicked out of school at 15! It just shows the power of a
positive frame of mind.

Future Plans
I
have a number of new book and CD titles in the pipeline as well as some
TV work in the planning stage. I am currently writing my fourth book
(second for Orion), which will be released in January 2009. I am also
working on an exciting new hypnosis CD and download series for Orion
which will be on bookshelves from January 2009.”

When
time allows I still love writing and producing songs, often with my
wife Aly who is a wonderful singer. Last year I had a dance song signed
up by an Italian dance label. The song is called Transparency and it is
available on iTunes in various mixes. I still have an unfulfilled
ambition to write a number one hit – one day!

The most rewarding aspect of my hypnotherapy work is
the many emails, phone calls, and thank you letters I get from people
all over the world who have been helped by using my CD's and downloads.
My aim is to continue to develop and improve my recordings, and to
create products that have genuinely healing qualities.

Getting Started With Glenn Harrold

Information on how the hypnosis recordings work...
You will be guided into a state of complete physical
and mental relaxation using clinical hypnotherapy
techniques, along with 60 beats per minute sound
effects that help to synchronise the left and right
hemispheres of the brain. This creates an extremely
receptive learning state.

Once you are in this optimum learning state, you are
instructed to repeat carefully worded affirmations
relating to the title of the CD, recording or MP3. These
affirmations are profoundly hypnotic and soothing,
allowing you to absorb the affirmation on a very
deep level. These are enhanced with post-hypnotic
suggestions to help you easily achieve your desired
goal. Most recordings also include Pink Noise, a
natural sound similar to waves. The low frequencies
(between 6 & 10hz) emitted by Pink Noise synchronise
with brainwaves and guide you into a mentally
relaxed and creative state.

At the end of each recording, you will be gently
brought back to full waking consciousness with a
combination of suggestion and music. There are also
a number of positive subliminal messages embedded in
the outer music to maximise the benefits. The only
exception to this is the Sleep title which aims to
guide you into a deep relaxing sleep and has no fade
out music. Each MP3/CD/DVD is completely safe and
comes with a clear set of instructions. All
affirmations and subliminal suggestions are clearly
printed on the inside covers.

It is important to remember that you are being
guided, so you will always be in full control of the
whole process. If at anytime you want to stop, you
just open your eyes and you will be wide awake.
