Elissa C. Goldberg concentrates her legal practice in the area of family law, mediation and collaborative law in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. She has handled numerous cases involving equitable distribution (property division), custody, child support, alimony pendente lite, and alimony. She began her legal practice in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in 1995 after traveling extensively throughout Eastern Europe as an international adoption attorney. The work in international adoption was both rewarding and fulfilling as she was able to unite prospective adoptive families with orphans in Romania, Russia and Moldova.
A 1991 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College where she graduated cum laude and also a 1994 graduate of Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia where she graduated with honors. Presently, Elissa is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Family Law section) and Bucks County Bar Association where she does pro bono work for the indigent. She is appointed regularly by various judges as counsel for dependency matters. She has lectured throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties on related family law issues. Elissa taught legal issues and mediation techniques while an adjunct professor at the PJA School in Upper Darby, PA and she also taught inner-city high school students various means to settle disputes without the need for violence.
