In a nutshell, I am a story teller and communicator. I write (not just scripts but all kinds of writing), I produce, and I love to direct. There really are so many stories to tell, and I love telling them, by the written word and in film and video.
I have written for some of the leading newspapers and magazines in the country including New York Newsday, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Dallas Morning News, Politico, The Huffington Post,Hispanic magazine, Latina magazine and many others. I have also been a political columnist with the daily paper, The Austin American-Statesman.
On the filmmaking side, my directorial film debut, A Simple Promise, achieved national distribution and I am in development on another major feature that will shoot both in the U.S. and in Europe.
On the pr side, I have overseen media relations and media strategies for some of the biggest corporations anywhere. And I have handled publicity for feature films, documentaries, bands, singers, actors, as well as producers and directors.
Additionally, I taught communications for two sessions at the famed Lyndon Baines Johnson Graduate School for Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin as a Woodrow Wilson Program Instructor.
A Dedicated father of two great teenagers and husband of a wonderful wife, I love to run and love playing polo.
I have always loved the saying "what holds us back is not who we are but who we think we are not." What we believe about ourselves becomes our reality all too often.
