Well hello there! Thanks for visiting my page.
You know, years ago when I was looking for counseling I was so
intimidated by the whole process, I couldn't even make an appointment.
I thought I would have to tell the receptionist why I wanted to come
and I just wouldn't know what to say.
Thankfully, we don't need to have a reason. But if you feel you want
to be prepared to say something--just in case you're asked, then here
are a few reasons people enter counseling today:
You may have noticed that I phrased these goals in positive, active terms. This makes is a little easier to speak about an issue when you make the call for your first counseling session.
They reflect a proactive perspective which is what counseling really is. It helps you be a stronger you. Whatever
issues you want to work on, you'll find it easier to speak about them
when you phrase them in such a way.
As a therapist and as a client...
I have been a client and a therapist for many years so I can speak
confidently about counseling from both perspectives. I hope my page helps you to
consider counseling as a means of taking your life to the next level.
Remember, therapy provides "life lessons that last a lifetime".

I hope you will open your mind and heart to the possiblities that are around you...but like a lot of people, maybe you need a little support to get you there!
Consider counseling. It's been enormously beneficial for me over the years and I know it can help you.
I created a counseling website filled with loads of information on getting started and being an active participant in your own growth.

I could tell you about my qualifications and the gazillion workshops, conferences and presentations I have attended in my professional life, but I think it's easier to know someone by how they describe themselves (but if you're really curious this information is easily found on my site).
