Dr. Lewis is President/CEO of the Executive Women’s Success Institute. The author of two books, she conducts workshops and seminars that have been presented throughout the United States and abroad. Dr. Lewis was selected by the Minority Enterprise Executive Council as one of the “50 Women of Power in Business” in 2012. She has been certified by The Professional Woman Network as a Diversity Trainer with special emphasis in Women Issues. Dr. Lewis has appeared in the National Association of Female Executives magazine Success (fall issue) and on numerous radio shows such as, Radio One Talk Show: A Woman’s Journey to Success: Topic: Superwoman Syndrome. She has written articles such as “Making the Deal: Women as Negotiators,” “Playing from the Blue Tee: Women in the Federal Government,” “How Women Can Speed Progress on Diversity at Work,” and “How to Get the Promotion you Deserve,” which have appeared in business journals, federal magazines, and college websites. Dr. Lewis’ workshop on “Leadership Skills for Women” has been requested and conducted for federal government agencies in the Washington, DC area. Dr. Lewis has professional experience in city government, federal government, and the U. S. military. A passionate believer in self-esteem and desiring to guide women to achieve their best mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health, Dr. Lewis is a career coach and consultant available for keynote addresses and presentations on a local, national, and international basis. Among her many accolades is a governor’s citation from former Maryland Governor William Shaffer (for service during Desert Storm), three Attorney General’s Volunteer Service Awards, and a Director’s Award for Outstanding Foreign Counterintelligence Investigation from the FBI. Dr. Lewis was nominated for the Office Depot 2007 Business Woman of the Year Award, an honoree in WE Magazine 2009 Women’s Hall of Fame and a 2009 Stevie Award Finalist. And, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Justice Federal Credit Union and International Advisory Board of the Professional Woman Network.
