Working in private practice his entire career Dr. Maulfair has moved from standard family practice, prescribing drugs and doing surgeries, to a very effective new paradigm in heart disease care and more broadly, health for all his patients especially people with tough medical conditions and chronic problems. He remains enthusiastic about the care and results his patients enjoy. He is known as a great listener and a medical detective; finding the underlying causes of symptoms and addressing those with nutrient based natural health solutions eliminates the use of pharameceutical drugs in the main. He concentrates on health not disease.

Certified in general practice and surgery as an Osteopathic Physician he has remained true to his early education in regarding health from the wholistic viewpoint of his profession. He holds a past certification as a radiologist but left that behind when he found modalities like chelation therapy were more effective than usual solutions for heart disease. He is interested in treating and preventing the problems of aging. He is certified by the American Board of Chelation Therapy, a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology, board member of the International College of Integrative Medicine, ICIM, board member of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, and a retired Colonel, US Army Reserve Medical Corp.

In medical practice for over 45 years he remains independent as the Medical Director of the Maulfair Medical Center in eastern Pennsylvania west of Allentown.
