Diane Ryan, MA, CPT, is the Executive Director and former Clinical Director of Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Centers.

Under Ryan's direction, Mirasol is building on its tradition of innovation in alternative treatment, and expanding the role of adventure therapy in both the adult and adolescent treatment programs.

"My goal is to maintain Mirasol's track record of excellence and take that forward with new approaches and new interventions based on recent developments in the field of neuroscience," says Ryan. "The latest research underscores the importance of connection as a primary component of mental, emotional and physical health. Eating disorders at their core are about disconnection, and wilderness and the other experiential therapies we practice here at Mirasol are all designed to foster connection with yourself, with the people around you and with your place in the world."
