I started using CAM therapies, in the 1990s, as most do, after being told by my doctors that it was unlikely that I would recover. I was told by my doctors and therapists that it was unlikely I would walk without aids, and was advised to be held back in high school and not bother applying to a four-year college.
Taking matters into our own hands, and seeking alternatives to this advice, I was able to attend and graduate from not only a four-year college but also a Master's degree program.
For over ten years I have been helping people recover from their various illnesses and return to their lives as best they can using both Western medicine, when and where necessary and CAM techniques when and where appropriate.
