I'm retired from the practice of psychology and thoroughly enjoy working with writers, entrepreneurs, non-profits and businesses to advance their goals and missions. I earned my bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, my M.A. from Goddard College, and my Ph.D. from Union Institute.
I'm now a writing coach, writer, editor, researcher, and educator. I've worked with writers of many stripes: academic, technical, fiction and non-fiction. From Si Kahn's latest book, Creative Community Organizing (2010), to doctoral dissertations in subjects ranging from biochemistry to diversity in the Girl Scouts--and lots in between--I thoroughly enjoy helping writers and organizations produce work that expresses what they want, the way they want.
I have also have expertise working with ESL/ELL writers. I've worked with native speakers of French, Spanish, German, Italian, Farsi, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. I'm happy to work with small business owners for whom English is a second language to get their message out in English that is clear, accurate, and compelling.
