My greatest teacher is the nature. We only have to sit and really look at her.
We all are socially responsible for the world.
One man can make a difference.
Cornelis Peters is the fifth among a christian family of seven children. Raised in a modest village in the midst of the famous Dutch flowerfields it was clear that his career should somehow has to do with flowers. But Karma and personal interest changed his original destination. He studied farmacology and physiology in Amsterdam and Utrecht and worked in different labs as a research technician. Not satisfied with the narrow view of research he left for a one year sabbatical to India. In India he came into contact with the oldest science of medicine the Ayurveda. Captured with the beauty and immens depth of this ancient wisdom he stayed for more than a deccenia in India, studying this ancient science. He met his wife Dr. V.P. Mohana Kumari married her and founded the Indo Dutch Art and Ayurveda Centre in Trivandrum. In 1998 both left for the Netherlands because their son Vighnesh wanted to study in the homecountry of his father. Dedicated to Ayurveda both husband and wife started the Europa Ayurveda Center first in Amsterdam and later in Witharen, the Netherlands. The Europa Ayurveda Center is located on 20 acres of beautiful fertile land. At present the center grows their own herbs for the clinic. Unique is the fact that the whole proces from planting the seed to the final product is done in one and the same place. 'That makes it for my wife and me very special and very important.'
We know exactly what we do and how the herbs will work. Our patients are coming from all over the world and from all walks of life to get treatments in our way of Ayurveda. We had in our study time in India close contacts with the Kani tribes in the jungles of south India. From them we learned the secrets of planting, nourishing, and growing the herbs in the most friendly way you can imagine. That has a big result when we make our products from our herbs.
