My path in healing and the martial arts has brought me self discipline, energy, great health, and an active, pain free life. I don't think I would be able to enjoy this level of health without my studies and training in so called 'alternative or natural' Healing methods. This includes Karate-do, Aikido, Meditation, Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Along with the active arts I also pursued Energy and body work therapies such as Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Reiki, Craniosacral therapy, and various types of massage and acupressure.
I have the firm belief that by including the study of a few of these key methods, anyone can enjoy a greater sense of their body and mind, optimise their health and connect to their highest potential.
For thousands of years practitioners have benefitted from these arts and they remain as relevant to people today in their busy lives and can really make the difference between great health and a mediocre life.
My daily practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong helps me to balance my life between doing my sports such as snowboarding and martial arts, with my acupuncture practice where I am helping others find their balance.
I feel how my own personal practice protects me and keeps me healthy and strong, ready for the various demands I encounter in my daily life.
I feel lucky to have found my path to true health and I am committed to helping others benefit from these amazing natural healing arts!
