I am an award-winning veteran copywriters and I'm also the orginal copywriter's coach. Many know me from my coaching program, and my knowledge of the many niche markets for copywriters. I am author and publisher of information products for copywriters, including the industry's only statistical reports for pricing on 60 copywriting jobs.

In 2003 I created what has become the world's most powerful self-marketing system for copywriters, the MARLOW Marketing Method™ for Copywriters.

In addition to helping copywriters "dress for success" so they can target and land the high-quality, high-value clients, I help them become gurus in their niche market. Usually this includes showing them how to set up and successfully market their own information products.

I have written controls for companies like Intuit and AchieveGlobal, but I now show my coaching students how to create direct mailings that get amazing response rates. (A control is a mailing that gets a response rate or ROI that can't be beat by other test mailings.)

Much of my knowledge and experience comes from my direct response agency background. My goal is to help as many copywriters and freelancers as I can, to not only get clients, but get the "great" clients, because most new copywriters find themselves working for less than ideal clients. In addition to one-on-one and group coaching, I also hold online workshops and teleseminars, and am now doing more public speaking.

When I'm not in the office I love to go sailing in the San Diego Bay with my toy Yorkie, Sailor. I also have a raised garden that is sometimes bountiful, other times not so. Good friends, family, church and exercise "rounds me out," and I try to live a balanced life that I can be proud of.
