Carmin Wharton is the author of Lessons Learned: While Looking for Love in All the Wrong Faces, a gritty, sometimes painful, but always entertaining memoir chronicling her journey while searching for a romantic partner. After 3 marriages and "interesting" relationships sprinkled in between the marriages, this girl knows what she's talking about. She finally quit blaming those outside of herself and realized she needed to do some mental and spiritual housecleaning because it was she who was actually attracting these undesirable mates into her life!
Carmin doesn't mince words and shots straight from the hip when dispensing dating and relationship advice.
She believes that the starting point for a successful relationship is one's level of self-esteem and self-worth. Carmin reminds us that "You will attract the person that you are." So, if you have unresolved issues such as unforgiveness toward a former partner, you will attract the same partner but with a different face and name. Carmin espouses, "We must clear out the junk (negative thoughts and talk) in our trunk (our heart and brain) before going on the hunt (for a new relationship)."
Carmin earned her Master of Science Degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of South Florida (Tampa, FL).
She resides in Central Florida surrounded by loving and supportive family and friends.
