Carmin Wharton is the author of Lessons Learned: While Looking for Love in All the Wrong Faces, a gritty, sometimes painful, but always entertaining memoir chronicling her journey while searching for a romantic partner. - All failed relationships, no matter how badly they ended, left you with a gift. The gift could be a beautiful and healthy child, the ability to recognize domestic violence or the ability to recognize the fact that pain is a sign that something is out of whack. You may have to look hard for the gift but it's there; seek and ye shall find.
- You are the prize. God doesn't make junk and has never created an insignificant person. You deserve respect and you deserve unconditional love. If you really believe that you are worth 'it' - whatever 'it' is to you, you won't settle for less.
